How much water does WhiskerWell hold?
3.2 liters, or approximately 108 fluid ounces. That is a much larger supply than a typical bowl, so there is more water available between top-ups. How often you refill depends on the number of pets and how much they drink.
Is it cordless? How long does the battery last?
Yes. WhiskerWell runs on a rechargeable 4000 mAh battery, so it can sit wherever your cat prefers to drink without a cord across the floor. The supplier lists up to 60 days of standby, depending on mode and use. Continuous runtime per charge has not yet been documented.
How loud is it?
The low-consumption 5 V pump is supplier-rated at 25 dB or less and is designed for quiet operation.
What does the filter contain, and what does it do?
The named filter media are cotton, activated carbon, and ion-exchange resin; the supplier describes the overall system as quadruple filtration. It is designed to help reduce odors and capture hair, dirt, and other visible impurities. It is not a water sterilizer or a substitute for safe drinking water.
How often should I change the filter?
Plan on roughly every 4 weeks. Each kit's included filters are labeled as a supply for that period: Standard is a 3-month supply (3 filters), Bundle a 6-month supply (6 filters), and Deluxe a 12-month supply (12 filters). Replace the filter earlier if it looks heavily soiled, an odor develops, or flow declines. Replacement packs of 3 or 9 filters are available on the product page.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The removable stainless-steel components are supplier-listed as dishwasher safe. The battery, charging parts, and any other electrical components must not go in a dishwasher.
Is it safe for cats? What is it made from?
The fountain is made with food-grade 304 stainless steel and supplier-validated BPA-free components. Stainless steel is non-porous and easier to keep clean than plastic.
Is it suitable for multiple pets, or for dogs?
WhiskerWell is designed with multi-pet households in mind; actual refill frequency depends on pet size, number of pets, and drinking habits. It is marketed primarily to cat owners, though the supplier also lists dogs and small animals as suitable pets.
Can it be used outside or while traveling?
It is supplier-listed for indoor, protected outdoor, and travel use. Use it in protected conditions and follow the final charging and waterproofing instructions that ship with the fountain.
What comes in the box?
Every kit includes the WhiskerWell fountain and its filter supply: Standard comes with 1 box (3 filters), Bundle with 2 boxes (6 filters), and Deluxe with 4 boxes (12 filters). The full packing list is being finalized and will be published once confirmed.
How long does shipping take?
All orders currently ship free within the United States. Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days via USPS or UPS. We ship to U.S. addresses only.
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the product, including opened or used fountains. Opened or used filters cannot be returned. You pay return shipping; there is no restocking fee. Refunds go back to your original payment method once the return package is in transit. Email inquiries@kittykapital.com to start a return.
Does it have a warranty?
Yes. WhiskerWell carries a 1-year warranty. Warranty service requires returning the product and is initiated via inquiries@kittykapital.com. A 30-day satisfaction / money-back guarantee also applies within the return window.
